Samba is for SMB/CIFS. NFS is for NFS. AmiTCP/Genesis comes with a NFS client (IIRC, the command is ch_nfsmount).

Nice to see another South Bay local here. Let me know how the ch_nfs works. I can bring home a Linux laptop and try if you get stuck.
