New Amiga gamer here!
« on: September 17, 2003, 03:22:13 AM »
Hello all!  I'm new to these forums and just picked up a TON of Amiga games for my 500 (which I also recently got).  I have about 220 games, 80 of which are here now, the rest on the way.

Anyway, I'm looking to swap games woth people, and some of my disks aren't working, but only a handful, so I need to replace them!

I'm just learning about Amiga gaming....did it back in the early 90s for a year or so on my cousin's computer and now that I have a 500, I'm back in!

If you're interested, here's a list of all the games I got today (all original disks, not bootlegs)  I should have some of them up for trade in the near future...I have to get all the manuals too, as the guy who sold these to me has most of the manuals as well :

Yep, I got your package, 98!  It's the same maxlords from digital press!  :D  As for the Workbench disk...no such luck...it doesn't work at all for some reason.  But I got a Workbench 1.2 disk with this batch of games and it works!   I need to get some disks and I'll return the favor for you :D

@unclewilli-amigalover:  What do you mean rubbing alcohol?  Like ON the actual magnetic disc itself, inside the casing?  I have some Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and I'd never thought of that....would be well worth it if I can get those Psygnosis games working that aren't (Aquaventure, Leander, and a couple others)!

Shadow of the Beast, especially the first one, is GREAT on Amiga...best version IMO!  I played it back in 91, and now I'm glad to have it again!   I don't know what the policy here is on backups, so I don't want to make any offers, but you're welcome to message me privately :)

One of the reasons I wanted an Amiga was to play Shadow of the Beast again, as well as play Shadow of the Beast 3...forgot how unbelievably HARD those games are!  lol   I also badly wanted to play Awesome again, which is still damned good!   I'll give you guys a list of the rest of my disks when I get them.  I know I'll be trading a good stack of them off as well if anyone's interested!  I'll be keeping the Psygnosis games though, and probably a handful of other stuff I like, like Project-X!

well, everything I have so far is disks only or disks + manual, so you probably wouldn't want anything I have, but I'm interested in boxed complete NTSC  Psygnosis games (especially shooters) tested and working, as well as shooters (disk only or boxed).

@ Bloodline:  Don't have Castles 2 coming in that batch of 140, sry!
