I do; no its not useless.  The speed seems to depend on your cpu and the hard drive filesystem you use.  On my bog standard A4000/040 with Commodore A3640 card (and a CV64-3D)with FFS it is frustratingly slow  and consumes mondo cpu time.  But with my Cyberstorm 68060 and using PFS its quite nippy. To be honest I don't notice any difference compared with the CyberSCSI controller.  I have a 2.0g hd IDE  and 48/16/48 ATAPI  CDRW and I can burn at X14 with no buffer under run BUT I use CD image files on the Cyberscsi Hardrive.  I have a A4000 gold flyer as well but on my older IDE hard drive it made no difference speed wise and even used more cpu cycles, which really reduced my multitasking ( this with Executive working as well).  So now I have  power flyer out and i am happy to use the IDE
