The REV 9 buster has some bugs with the zorro III. you are better off getting Rev 11 buster for everything zorro you may use.
Cybergraphx (CGX) is the software which allows you to use your graphics card with its higher resolutions and more colors than the AGA. You must have this or the alternative free Picasso 96 (P96) in order to use your cv64/3d. Personally i payed for CGX V4 because I found that on Phase 5 boards ( i have both a cv64 and cv64/3d with scan doubler in my a4000) that CGX is more reliable, more compatible, and faster than P96.
One of the cool things that you now get with your graphics card is the option to get better SOUND out of Paula, via AHI, so you can play mp3's in 14 bit and 44100 hz (upto 56 khz), which sounds pretty good..but the latest version of cGX v4.2 rev 11 has a bug in it which will only allow you to open a pal/ntsc screen once only if you choos a 56kHZ sound option., but you can get aruond this
I would recommend sourcing the scan doubler that was available for the CV64/3d.
the cV64/3d has a built-in primitive 3d function which has some use for showing video eg mpeg in a window
