I found the best sounding and least cpu-intensive (taking about 22% of cpu time) way to play mp3 on my 68060 through Paula was to use MPEGA 3.5 with the integer mpega library in LIBS: with AHI installed and choosing a non-video screen mode i can playback in 14 bit in real time and it sounds great.
