I just got an A2000 rev. 6.2. It's my first ever A2000. :-)
Anyway, the specs for now are bare-bones. 1MB chip ram, ECS chipset, no HD, 68k CPU, 3.1 rom.
Everything works great, but when I turn the system ON, for a second at boot the screen goes RED, which indicates a rom error, if I know my Amiga colour codes correctly. After the 1 sec red screen, I get the 3.1 kickstart screen, and at that point everything works fine, but that red screen makes me wonder... :-?
Any way to make it go away? :-) I've tried pressing down on all chips, and it didn't help. Perhaps I should start replacing them one by one? I've got a fully populated A500+ motherboard which could be of help.
Thanks in advance for any help/tips.
