A600 doesn't come with a clock battery.

Yes, expansions mostly do. I'm not sure if that's what he meant when he said that he replaced a bettery on his A600.

The only "computer-in-a-keyboard-case" Amiga model with on-board motherboard battery was the A500Plus.
