You can upgrade the firmware yourself that would make the card work with KS3.1 if any ram is installed on the card.

You can flash it just like you can flash any Phase 5 accelerator card. There is an on-board flashrom on DKB Cobra and DKB 1240 accelerators.

The DKP Ferret SCSI utility disk has got the flash file on it. Simply UnDMS this image onto a floppy and it will become a bootable disk. Boot your A1200 with it and make sure your DKB1240 or Cobra has got no ram installed on it if you have 3.1 roms installed. If you still have 3.0 roms, it doesn't matter if there is ram on the accelerator or not. Follow the instructions and viola! Your DKB accelerator is 3.1 compatible.
