How about opening the A4000 PSU, taking out the insides of it and swapping them with a suitable ATX PSU insides, then using the ATX to A4000 converter? That would be the most astetically pleasing mod. The hard part would the to safely secure the ATX PSU insides in the A4000 PSU casing.
