Maybe you should have gone the A1200 route, as Blizzard range of cards can address 256MB of memory. :-)

Honestly though, how come 128MB is not enough for you?

Have you considered getting a Fastlane Z3 controller? If I understand correctly, more than one can be used at once. Also, they can address up to 64MB of ram, or more, that is if you stumble upon an ultra rare 256MB version. :-)

Keep the A4000T, but start building a separate A1200T as well.

If you plan to upgrade heavily, if you ask me, it's always better to go by the A3000/A4000(D) or (T) route, as they are superior to A1200 and much less hacky, but don't get me wrong, A1200 is right up there (almost) with A3000/A4000.

If only you could find a way to solve the memory problem... :-)

I'm really unfamiliar with details about Fastlane Z3. Perhaps someone else could provide more info?
