Hi,

Some of this sounds simular to my problems with getting a CybervisionPPC working on my system.

I found the CGXinfo board utility I found to be very misleading, all it looks for is the monitor device being installed correctly from the monitors drawer - not actually looking at the hardware registers directly, so all it tells you here is the software isn't setup.

My problems were eventually traced back to the monitors driver which for some reason was a duff version - not sure where I got this from, but due to my 060 libraries (doesn't help here!) being wrong I had two errors which were hard to spot, hence things got mixed up when trying too many versions etc.

Is it possible with the cybergraphics card to set it up to display some sort of early boot mode like the PPC ones - that was the way I could prove my card worked and the software was broke.

By the way are you monitoring everything with snoopdos ?  I think its also possible to set it up running before workbench loads to see if you can understand the crash there...

Good luck
