Warp3D/VooDoo3 3000. Do they work together????????
« on: June 22, 2003, 04:31:58 AM »
Hello,
    I'm having difficulty getting Warp3D to work with my VooDoo3 3000. Could someone give me a rundown on setting this up?
    I've got P96 running properly.
    WarpOS is running properly (that was an interesting task).
    I Installed the Warp3D that comes on the MMCD and tried setting the "gfxaddress" and "force" settings, but to no avail.
    I REALLY would like to be able to at least try the Freepsace demo - maybe even get the game someday....
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
SunBlade 1000 2x1200mhz UltraSparc III+, 8GB RAM, XVR1000, 73GB and 300GB FC drives, DVD, SunPCi IIIpro - 1GB RAM (yes it does work when I set the clock back to 2009), Solaris 10.

Ultra60 2x450MHz UltraSPARC II, 2GB RAM, 9GB U160 and 36GB U320 drives, CDROM

@Rogue
Non-MMU.
For Freespace, I get a gray screen and lockup.
For Shogo, I get a gray screen and a shell on the Workbench with multiple error messages about being unable to lock the screen.
For the Warp3D test, I get the blue screen and I can change the settings, but no 3D whats-it.

@lempkee
Welllllllll, I bought my Blizzard second hand and had no manuals or instructions. The Mediator of course was new. It was interesting in that I had to research quite a bit on the internet before I found everything.
I'll go through the Warp3D stuff again..

@Sloxa
I have several files with "Avenger" in the name in my Warp3D directory...

The games work with the software renderer, but they're  WAAAAAAAAAAY too slow.
