Yeah, i am in the same position as you. I have to keep switching between montior and tv when playing games (whd). Anyone know the prices and the difference between external and internal. And where do they get plugged into? I am looking for a cheap one that will be enough to display games. Anyone?

Interesting.

I know that an external sd/ff would be lower quality (hence the price) then the internal one, but it should be okay for playing whd games (pal and ntsc) on my SVGA montior shouldn't it?

I know where i would plug my external sd/ff (in the RGB socket), but where would i plug the internal ss/ff. Also what else do i need to play them old games on my SVGA monitor? I know i need to get a monitor switcher box, where and what are the prices? Anything else?

The sd/ff fits over the gayle chip? Oh no! I think that my power flyer currently sits on it. I think any way, not sure. I own a Power Flyer MK 2 gold edition (i think). Can anyone confirm this? Look as though i will be getting a external sd/ff.

So what you are trying to tell me is, that it would indeed be IMPOSSIBLE to fit an external sd/ff in my A1200T due to space taken up by the power flyer - is there nothing else i can do, like modify the board or something? Okay. I think i only now need a scandoubler to play them old WHD installed games, cos they both display in PAL and NTSC. And the Blizzardvision that i currently have will act as a flicker fixer for the things that need it.

Will i need an internal one or an external one? I need to know for definate before i start splashing the cash again. I have a power flyer installed and is the main concern for me. Also where are the cheapest ones and from where? Also, i will need a monitor switcher to switch between these modes, so where can i pick one of these up then? An for how much?

If there is indeed some Gayle "riser" then could someone please point me in the right direction. I have some IC Sockets, that rises the power flyer and Roms so that it won't interfere with the Blizzardvision. So i am guessing that some may exist for this purpose as well. Am i right? If not then i will opt for the external one.
