Never had any experience with an A590, but from memory, it's just a A2091 in a box. I picked up an A2000 with an A2091 that was exhibiting the same problems (green screen). I removed all the socketed chips, gave the board a good clean and reseated all the chips, worked like a charm. As for the HDD problem, what kind of HDD are you trying to connect?
