Hmmm, just like you, animals like to defend their territory too. Why should an animal die just because you selfishly invaded its territory?

...now i would be remiss in mentioning handguns are considered tools for protection. in big cities the fear of guns is rampant so the pressure to own one to protect agains someone with one is high.

IMO, that argument is a bit of a tail chaser. The fear of guns leads to more guns which leads to more fear which again leads to more guns, you see where I'm going with this?
 

these people (the nra)are commonly associated with being the gun nuts here in the us. in reality tho they are only a political group preventing the government regulating away our rights to own and use guns.

What about the rights of people who end up on the wrong side of a gun? Who's there campaigning for them?

i will never say there are no gun nuts in the us just not as many as people think there are.

My suggestion is to invest in gold, that will always be worth something, however, humans have been hunting long before the advent of guns, guns just make it easier. If money really does become worthless as in your scenario, how do you expect to pay for ammo, powder etc.?

Plenty more to kill you downunder and we seem to get by without guns. If something unwanted wanders into our homes, you simply pick up the phone and call for the local ranger to come and relocate it. Here's something to think about, if you actually have a problem with animals invading your home, it means you're living too close to their natural environment to begin with.

this is true but then again there are so many things that fit in this category
eg housing sales drop so businesses panic and fire workers fearing a recession leaving people without jobs which hurts the economy causing more to be fired thereby causing a recession.

Recession is the result of many more factors than this, ultimately, recession is just an ugly by-product of human greed.

another is. if handguns were outlawed only the criminals will have guns. so to defend myself you will need to get a gun making yourself a criminal. this continues until everyone is a criminal.

If someone is pointing a gun at you and you in turn point a gun at them, the chance of a shot actually being fired raises to near 100%, one on one leaves you with a 50/50 chance on being shot yourself, whats the point? Just give them what they want and you stand a better chance of actually living. Besides, handguns are completely outlawed here in Australia, do you see everybody walking the streets packing an illegal pistol in their jacket just in case?

while i agree with that. this is not reality to think that we can eliminate gun nuts. however we can promote a healthy viewpoint of guns and hope the message sinks in.

No guns means theres nothing for them to get nuts over ;-)
