I've never been to IKEA myself. Might just go someday to see what all the fuss is about.

Neither have I, thats why I don't own any of their stuff :-D

A new Danish furniture shop called ILVA has opened in Manchester. Very posh. I bet it's expensive. I am sure the wife will want to visit soon. I hate shopping.

I'm not a big shopping fan either, unless I'm looking at uber expensive Nikkor glass, fortunately the missus isn't a big shopper too :-)

Edit...Indeed they are expensive, I had a quick look at their bar stools (thats sounds awful) and they look waaaaay to arty-farty to me.

Don't judge me too harshly, mate. It was cheap and I needed in a hurry...

No ones being judged here, just making a point. I'm sure we've all had times when we've needed something cheap and quick

Pah, I sneer at your electric screwdriver. As soon as the battery starts to flatten, it is weak and innefectual (I know, I have one :-D)

The one I took the picture of is limited only by the strength in your arm ;-)

I keep two charged batteries and one of these handy!

 :-P

1/2" Keyless Chuck, Variable Speed, Hammer Drill, 6.5A, 0-3000 RPM, 0-48000 BPM
Drilling capacity: 1 7/8" wood, 25/32" masonary, 1/2" steel

Aaargh .....

Thats one fine looking piece of hardware :-o

Back on topic,.... I think IKEA have gone too far now with their flatpack obsession.

I mean a Flatpak House !!??? :-o .. For God's sake..What were they thinking??

Maybe, but it is quite tempting as a holiday home, pick a nice unoccupied piece of land, head down to the local Ikea, pick up a house and get to work with my Allen key :-D
