As already suggested in another thread, why not get it tested by someone with a known working setup like yours? You can even send it to Amiga Repair Center in France for getting it checked for errors for the cost of shipping?

No need to break working hardware...

As already mentioned in your other thread, your card being a rev. 0 board hasn't anything to do with it not working with your BVision. Plenty of other people has a working BPPC + BVision setup running, even though the BPPC is a rev. 0 board (myself included) As for doing the firmware update, you have already done that yourself (and no, you don't need to remove the BVison in order to do the firmware update). Maybe you haven't got the latest one available?

Install a working 3.1 setup, and try again with the BVision and the latest CGX update.

OS3.0 or 3.1 won't make a difference.

@pyrre

As I'm going to open up my A1200PPC tower during the weekend for some hardware changes, I'll try to make a guide on how to install and setting up the BlizzardPPC and BVisionPPC combo.

Installation instructions for BPPC and BVPPC combo. Hopefully it will come in handy for a few out there.

1. Install OS3.9, BoingBag1 and BoingBag2. If you have a 040 based PPC card, install only 68040.library and 68040new.library in libs:, if a 060 based PPC card, install 68040.library, 68040new.library and 68060.library in libs. Latest 680x0 libraries can be found here.
2. Install CD support, and start the install script found on the CyberGraphX v4 CD. Don't choose a card, just install the software.
3. Unarchive the rc6 archive found here. After unarcing, start the update script, choose BlizzardVisionPPC and continue the update.
4. After the update has finished, reboot the computer and let it load Workbench. Open the prefs drawer and double click CGXMode. It will tell you that no settings are found, click OK, and the choose the prefered KHz setting from the dropdown menu called "Settings". Select a suitable screenmode, edit it, and get it set up so it displays through the BVPPC. Click OK, click OK once more, click Save and then Click Quit. Let the program reboot the computer.
5. Load Workbench and select a BVPPC screenmode in the Screenmode preference program. Click Use or Save.

The above 5. steps works for me, with a rev. 0 BPPC 040/160/SCSI and a BVPPC. I'm using a rev 14D motherboard, with timing fixes, and power supplied to the motherboard itself through the original power connector, as well as the floppy power socket on the motherboard. Finally there is power supplied directly to the BPPC through the fan connector of the board.

As for envs for CyberGraphX in the prefs program, I have ALERTEMU, HIDE15BIT, SUPERGELS, WBPATSPEEDUP, HIRESCRSR, PLANES2FAST, SUPERLAYERS and USESEMAPHORES ticked, all others unticked. As for screenmodes, I have to choose a VESA screenmode in order to get my TFT screen to display something useful.

As for a monitor drive in Devs:DOSDrivers. A icon will not be copied, so you need to do this yourself if you need it.
