1) All A1200s have AGA
2) No
3) Keep your Workbench as simple as possible. No background picture is a place to start.

If you run out of chip ram rather quick, you have to many visual add ons installed. Try typing avail in a shell window, and you will see that the fast ram is used. If you remove the accelerator you will run into the wall much, much faster than you do now.

What game is it you are trying to run? If it needs more than 1.8 MB chip ram, then you might run into problems. How much chip ram is free when you have loaded Workbench?

About 1.9 meg, it's with pretty much any game, Monkey Island 1 or 2 (the graphics doesn't seem to "line up" together) and sometimes Theme Park..

Better install the games with WHDLoad instead then. I have never had any problems with Monkey Island 1 or 2.

I know they are installed on harddrive, otherwise the chip ram issue you seem to have wouldn't be there. I was suggesting a new installer for the games, as found on www.whdload.de. It's installers made for games, allowing them to run on expanded systems, and often there are fixes included in the loading files.
