The adaptor you are refering to as "that" can not be connected to the internal IDE controller of the A1200. The TV modulator is in the way.

I know. If I didn't know the adaptor, how could I say it wouldn't fit? I just stated that the adaptor couldn't be installed on the A600 or A1200 motherboard.

Anyway, that particular adaptor is a bit overpriced if you ask me.

You don't need any drivers to use the adaptor, and you can't use the adaptor to connect a HDD to an A1200 (as already mentioned plenty of times here).

You can only use the adaptor to connecting a 2.5" harddrive to a PC or a big box Amiga.

The reason for it looking identical to the one at AmigaKit is that it in fact is the same adaptor. AmigaKit has just put a label on top of the adaptor to cover the HX IDE K part.
