AFAIK the BVision kit only rises the FastATA controller, so the BVision card can be placed underneath the FastATA.

No mechanical parts is involved in the kit, just sockets to extend the kickstart port. Been a long time since I have had a BVision kit, so maybe it has changed, but I doubt it.

The blue "paper" is just the foam the sockets are placed in, so the pins doesn't break off. The cable is to replace the old cable, which apparently isn't long enough if you raise the FastATA controller. It's a simple pin --> pin cable, like the one you have now.

This kit is a kit anyone can build; 4 new sockets matching the kickstart sockets, and a new, longer cable using the old connectoers.

Please read everything again.

You don't need to solder anything, each socket fits on top of another one, just like the FastATA fits in the rom sockets, so it is just to install it. The new cable is there because the old one might be to short to give a proper connection between the two boards, so it's only a cm longer than the one you already have.

-EDIT-

Links added to the last posts shows that you don't need the cable, as the one you have is already long enough. Just plug in 4 new sockets (2 in each) in the kickstart sockets, and place your FastATA on top of it.

The BVision kit only rises the FastATA, so it won't help you out. If you want to fysically move the FastATA, you will need to make your own solution.
