I don't know why your Amiga floppy doesn't work in your PC, if it is in fact a PC drive, but I do know that many PC drives are in compatible with Amiga no matter what you do.
Most likely there has been something additional done to the Amiga floppy drive in order to make it work with Amiga, something that needs to be done on the actual floppy drive and not on the cable side by using a PCB.
