As said in the title - I'm looking for the name of a program I used to use quite a while ago, it came on a disk containing EMACS and a sector editor
All the program did was basically allow you to scroll through a graphical representation of RAM - ie: The contents of RAM... As a scrollable bitmap! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen.
High score tables of games I played before soft resets (and quick hard resets) were visible, as well as sprites, a snapshot of the workbench desktop, and lots of checkerboard patterns as well as other crap - Very VERY smooth scrolling too!
Any ideas?
For those wondering,
THIS article kinda brang back those memories. After seeing the odd/even bars showing RAM content degradation, I thought "Wait a sec... I've seen something like that before, over 15 years ago!"
