NTSC / PAL question

Just out of curiosity, what would happen on an A3000 if you switched the internal jumper from NTSC to PAL? I'm not worried about the workbench display mode (running a PII), but for a lot of the games I've got whdloaded, I need to switch to PAL via the kickstart menu before they will work. Will changing this jumper solve my problem?

Thanks for the advice guys. Next time I tear my 3000 apart I'll swap the jumper. Just for ease of use.

And I completely agree, whdload is incredible! Anybody that says they have problems running games on the newer machines/OS needs to check this out. Mines a fully upgraded 3000 with a PII, CGX 4, and OS 3.9 and I can run every game I've tried under whdload! Nothing better than Cannon Fodder right on the hd, ready to go whenever I am (thx to MadGun68 for helping me get that one working)!!!!
