Those capacitors are no filters, they just prevent the loss of the signal if refresh don't come timely.
You might encounter some flicker without caps.
Third picture isn't completely different, it's just mirrored horizontally and ground signals are painted black. It's same as #2 built for 1984s-D which can sync on composite signal. Thats what green is used for.
