I think glitch happens to your ear, whereas most music takes a more passive role. That's why it's pretty easy to space out to it.

I guess I mean that there's so much bluster in the music that if you let go it kinda averages and becomes much easier to listen to than you'd expect.

Kinda like how white noise can be interpreted as the sound of waves at the beach, ultimately your expectations/approach shape the listening experience.
