There is actually a very good monitor convertor, its the XRGB-2. Its also much more expensive than the cheap ones, but it converts using the seperate RGB channels, creating a very sharp picture.

About the XRGB-2. Of course, you need to connect the Miggy using a RGB lead, and a Japanese one at that... that may be a problem since it has different pinouts than Euroscart.
