Seriously now. Could Microsoft, Apple, Sony or anyone else get away with such a lame answer for so long?
Ummm. Serious problem with this analogy. The companies you mention above are real, with billions of dollars tied up in development. Hyperion (despite their best efforts) are still a "garage level" company with a few guys programming in their spare time to get things done. They all have real jobs elsewhere to actually pay the bills.
