When you say "detected as a Unknown card", how/where are you 'looking' at the card within Workbench?

If you have a copy of good old SysInfo, you can run that and let us know what it says...

It should show that you're running a 68030...

Cheers,

Mike.

Hi All,

I've just placed my Blizzard card into my a1200 for the first time..

Its detected as a Unknown card.  I guess I need to add the Blizz drivers to startup sequence or something like that?

Using WB 3.1 fresh install.

Quick point in the right direction very much appreciated.

I think that's fine... It's not like Windows, where the system 'knows' just about every manufacturer or product ID :-)

I suggest making sure the RAM is showing up correctly in Workbench and that the system is running correctly (no strange lock-ups or such things).

Sounds like it's okay so far...

Cheers,

Mike.

Opps realised now it says 030.

It does have a line of

"Board + RAM (HD?) (unidentified)  Prod 8512/  (some system addresses etc..) "
