Hope this helps:

DPS TBC's are serial controlled. The PhoneCord like port on the back of the TBC is a serial port. It can be used to connect to an amiga or pc serial port or a DPS TBC remote control. The S-Video to video IS switched through serial control. The toggle switch on the top-external-part of the
card is for genlock timing. Also the TBC-IV software will also control a TBC-III.

TBC III Image here with labels:

DPS TBC Software is on this site in DMS Amiga Disk Image Format
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?dir=video

The Software is also here

The manual for the TBC IV (I Looked for III but only found IV)
http://www.leitch.com/custserv/doclib.nsf/SearchSV!OpenForm&Seq=1#_RefreshKW_Category
Select "VT-2600, VT-2600WB" in the list
You will get the manual in PDF format.

If you have an amiga 2000 , there is a way to connect the TBC to the internal amiga serial port. The cable might be easier to find than the special external TBC-III serial cable. The information is in the PDF.

And the last thing is you may just want to just get a s-video to composite video adapter. You need a male s-video to female bnc.

I found something close on this site, so yo may want to call or email them and tell them what you need. I bought cables from them before at local trade shows, so they should be ok.
