Why bothering to use always the codewheel? :-?

I suggest you to download the WHDLoad USR archive from www.whdload.de and then the installer for F/18 Interceptor from there.  :-D

Not that you can play the game from your HD without degrading or anything else doing monkeystyle, you also can use full caches (game will get smoother if you have a faster CPU). Also the patch will remove the codewheel check so you don't need to bother with that again :-)

Try it and register WHDLoad, the best tool made for Amiga imo!!!  8-)

Well, that is meant for HD owners. Don't know if your A2000 has a HD or not :-)
