I'm apparently too dumb to figure out how to format a drive properly under 1.3 - I've been using 2.x or above for so long that I'm sure it's a simple fix, I just don't know what it is.
I have a 50MB Quantum SCSI drive hooked to a A2091 (I've tried other drives too). I fired up HDToolBox from my 2091Install disk, configured my drive (it found it correctly, I said 'okay' to a new drive definition), went to partition it, said 'okay' to save changes and of course got the warning stating 'hey, you're going to wipe out you drive', said sure, whatever and it asked me to reboot. When it came back up, we start the loop all over again. I fire up HDToolbox, it doesn't know what it is, I define a definition, etc. I tried changing from FFS to OFS, and nothing besides the 'You're going to kill your drive'. I tried the format tool and it can't find the drive. I'm confused - it's always been a matter of defining the drive, partitioning, rebooting, and formatting.
