I'm responsible for the GF4-supporting kernel. The reason there are no docs with it is, as Bill says, that it's a test kernel that was really only intended for distribution to a few people on the Amithlon mailing list.

I'm disapointed and not a little bit peeved that AmigaBest has made it available, but the kernel is under the GPL so there's not much I can do about it.    :-(

As for Radeon support,  I'm working on that but the Radeon frame-buffer device in the kernel does not play well with Amithlon so there is no guarantee it will ever work.

If you're interested in new kernels I'd strongly suggest that you subscribe the to the Amithlon, AmithlonOpen and AmithlonDev lists on Yahoo Groups. New information always shows up there first.

If, as I suspect, AmigaBest do not also distribute the source code  you are perfectly entitled to ask them to remove the files because they are not complying with the GPL.

I have a feeling whoever runs that site isn't going to pay the slightest attention to the terms of the GPL. They seem to have little respect for either the word or, more importantly, the spirit of any license agreement.

After downloading my kernel from AmigaBest I've noticed that not content with posting it without consulting me or giving me credit , they've also gone as far as renaming the actual kernel file (which has the side-effect of breaking the launcher script).

Idiots  :-(
