Speaking of funny stories, one good friend of mine is a student soooo poor, that after his cooling fan died, he didn't have money to buy a new one, so he found a new way of cooling his CPU... watercooling!!! He placed a sealed, water-filled nylon bag on top of the heatsink! It has been working great for a couple or three days, until a hole was cut on the bag........ ouch :-x !

edit: forgot to say, he had all the components spread on the desk!

... I'm just shaking my head in disbelief ... that's just so amazingly stupid ...    Oh well. Sorry if someone feels offended now, but seriously. Common sense is something that everyone has.. Just stop to think for a while.

If you think that everyone has common sense, you better think again! You probably don't know of any Greek students in the UK.... In another occasion, this guy had no belt for his trousers and was using a computer mouse as one!!! He was tying the cable around his waist and kept the mouse in the pocket....now you probably understand of what type of person I'm talking about! Anyway, the hardware was already quite old by the time it happened, and I lend this guy an old mobo+CPU+RAM+PSU to get a system up & running again.... I might still have the photo of the ruined hardware....
