Moving from (s)low volume to faster board house assembly is the right thing to do but I assume it does mean lots of the "boring" test and admin is left to do with maybe (hopefully) only a bit of occasional rework.
Vampire boards will hopefully bring other opportunities for more third party hardware for classic Amigas and stand alone systems.
