VGA to DVI or HDMI best picture options

During the Summer, I bought one of these VGA-to-DVI converters for NWCA, they are very cheap (even cheaper now that they're on sale!) and work very very well

Hi Matt3k!

I bought one of these and it doesn't work well.  Everything is dark and almost unreadable.  I tried the voodoo as well as amiga video with the same results.
Any ideas?  Perhaps it is defective.

I'm sorry to read that it doesn't work I would think too that it's defective: mine provides a very nice picture, undistinguishable from using direct VGA... Let me take a picture and post it for you. Maybe you could post a picture as well for comparison?
