GVP RAM modules for A1230 Turbo+ II (Jaws II) accelerator
« on: June 14, 2013, 03:19:40 AM »
Hello,

I got a A1230 Turbo+ II (Jaws II) accelerator on eBay, for about 120 EUR, which is way cheaper than many others (Blizzards etc). I guess the reason why it was cheap despite it having a full 030@50Mhz is that it can only use GVP's RAM modules... am I right?

My board has a 4 MB Fast RAM module installed, and a free slot for a second module I would like to fit with a new one. Question is, Where can I find one? So far eBay does not offer any of this modules and they seem to be very hard to find online, so I wonder whether anyone here could point me out in the right direction in order to get one.

Uses a strange 64pin SIMM, I'd post a wanted ad over at Amibay.

A quick look on the evilbay

Owch :-(

Thanks! Actually I didn't see this one when I searched by GVP RAM or GVP AMIGA... eBay's search engine is really bad. Searching by GVP SIMM it appears so well, just as you say, Ouch...! it's quite expensive. But thanks for the url! I will post an ad on Amibay and see if something better comes out of it.
