Dead Commodore 1084?

after a month wait on a replacement Gotek Unit, went to wire it in as external drive and saw the display "Sleep" (i had the amiga copy the WB Disk i dont want to put much wear on my original WB1.2 Disk)

But no smell no sound no smoke no appearance if the tube popped, but it has a glitter effect in just behind the glass, (mind teh glare used my iphone)

Where abouts are you? Someone local may have a look at it or know of someone or some company/repair shop who can have a look at it for you.

and after awhile teh picture came back on its own, (the CRT "Glow" can be seen from the backside thru the vents.) but its gone out a few times as well.
