Yellow screen
« on: May 15, 2013, 08:14:04 AM »
Hi !
I have just bought an used Amiga 500. I was a happy user back in the mid 90's, and wanted to play Sensible soccer again Starting up and setting cables etc. went fine, but when I inserted the floppy disc I felt that it took long time to load. After 2-3 minutes I took out the disc, while it was still running in the discdrive. I restarted the computer, but unfortuanetely the tv-screen was now yellow, and the power LED is constant blinking. I have triet to restart by pressing Ctrl+the two amiga buttons, and turning the power supply off/on, but nothing happens. Can anyone help me with this problem ?

Thank you Dr. Bongo. Your advice did the trick. The machine runs fine now, after I disconnected the extra ram. I can't see what the problem is with the extra ram, but at least now I know the machine don“t malfunction :)
