How many do you think would sell 500... 1000?
Ever priced out a small run of PC boards? Ever tried to get 10K lot pricing on under 1000 chips?
If your board cost is $500 per, how will you sell it cheap?
Never mind the development/debugging time...
Now I'm no expert, just a prototyping tech. But I have done parts procuring and costed out board production runs (small ones) and it can't be done very cheaply. Let's face it, this is a dying market. If you want a Radeon in your "Big Box", a PCI bus is your only hope, IMHO.
