Help on setting up Amiga
« on: May 11, 2013, 07:24:09 PM »
Hi all

I used to have an amiga growing up, and recently i have again managed to get my hands on one, however i have totally forgot how to set it up lol

It has an A520 modlator that i know goes in the back of the amiga, and a cable that goes into my tv aerial port into the back of the modulator.

What am i missing??

My TV is a brand new panasonic plasma tv if that helps..i feel really dumb but im stuck !!

Thanks for any help

Chris

Thanks for your reply...im in the uk, i dont have a red or white cable with it, is it possible to use just the antenna one to get it to work then?

what i mean is the cable plugged into the back of the modulator that goes directly to the tv aerial socket?

Thanks i got it working, and your right the display..uurrggghhh lol...thanks for the link and i might eventually get one of them, in the mean time though is the other method (composite) better than the display via aerial?

If so what cable do i need to do that method?

thanks again

Thanks for all replies, i am going to order the scart cable as advised, in the mean time i have found a component cable that has red, yellow and white connections at each end.

Will this work for now and what order do i plug them in as i have tried all combinations and i cant get it to work
