Mediator together with CSPPC
« on: June 17, 2013, 09:55:18 AM »
Hi,
My Mediator just crashes after running pciinfo (Or any other PCI-type of access) while using my CyberStorm PPC 060/PPC 233Mhz card.

If I switch to my CSMK-I 060 or my 040 CPU card everything works fine. I have no clue about what is the issue and were hoping that someone here might cast some light over the problem :)

Hej,

Memsize is 256M (Only a Voodoo 3 2000) open and all others are closed. The PPC card has a internal oscillator so it should be EXT. The computer will not boot if they are not placed correctly.

This is only true for boards without oscillator and jumpers set to EXT.

A board with its own oscillator and jumpers set to INT might run for some time but crash as soon as the two oscillators run out of sync too much.

The PPC by design wont boot is my experience over the years and also covered in the Cyberstorm manual but I could be wrong of course and this is all OT!
