Can I use STfax with a cable modem

If you send it to an ISP with Fax forwarding, it should work?

FaxFree.com is supposed to be free, but never tried it.

The program looks at the serial port by default and needs to dialup on the phone line.

I've no idea how i can use it on an ADSL-Cable connection.

Suggestions?

Ciao

PS- anyway, thanks a lot Simone :-)

Enjoj with this news:

"You can upgrade to the latest version applying the patches available
on Aminet (biz/patch)" (from the STFax4 readme)

don't worry, lempkee. . .be happy :-)

fragima:well that update is surely ok, but by the looks of it...this is the end of this powerapp. ;(

anyone interested in explaining me how to use this on cable modems / adsl ?

cheers

No way at all.

Probably under Win, some Fax Service Company with its own apps, can do it.

Not sure with STFax.
