I know all that but it seems that miamipppoe.device wouldn't work with x-surf (ver.1) very well.

I would be very grateful if you could help me with some directions, maybe I was doing this all wrong.
Some examples of settings would be great.

You must downloat the xsurfadsl.device from:

http://home.t-online.de/home/indcomp/bin/dsl-rel2.lha

There is an installer inside.

The problem is the ADSL modem.

You must configure it from a PC as Bribge RCF1483.

Let me know.

Ciao

@ DrFloppy

Have you a PC with a Browser Java comp.?

Your modem has an IP (search on the modem docs).

Type that IP in the browser, and you should be able to see the ADSL modem configuration.

Which ADSL modem have you?

@tormedhammaren

Genesis don't support PPPoE ?!?!?. . so i'm a phantom!!!

I'm online with a XSurf card and its own PPPoE driver on ADSL line with a modem Ericcson 220dp.

If you have a XSurf/2 card, you can download the ADSL driver  archive with its installer at:

http://home.t-online.de/home/indcomp/bin/dsl-rel2.lha

FYI the user that needs help, has already an ADSL modem.

Ciao

I know all that but it seems that miamipppoe.device wouldn't work with x-surf (ver.1) very well.

Remember also, that with an ADSL modem (and some hub also), you MUST setup your XSurf, in half-duplex mode if you want to have full speed connections.

NOTE- only with "ADSL modem" and some hub.
