@locutus

mhh . . .a milion dollars question :-)

AFAIK the YMF-744 chip, is a good item.

Delfina Flipper, has some problem about its DSP and MP3 playing but anyway, i think that the 2 boards, are quite the same in quality.

I own a Repulse Gold card for my A4000 that is an hi-quality device with SPDIF in-out.

For the onstage use, all is possible but for RT sound effect . .  .onestly real effect gear for you guitar bass, should the best choise.

But, as i already said . . .all is possible.

Let we know.

Ciao

PS- remember that Delfina Flipper and (shit) my Repulse Gold card, doesn't works properly, with AudioEvolution (ver 3 and 4). (Rec mode)

I'm in srict contact, with the author that told me that the problem is AHI related.

Howerver i'm still useing ProStationAudio 5.05 Titanium . . . the best :-)
