So . . .if i understood well, you want to restore your old CGX 800x600 ScreenMode, right?

Your A1200 has a monochromatic CVBS output, right?

You must buy or make yourself, an CVBS>SCART cable or adapter.

In that way, you can view on your TV set the ScreenMode Prefs, and restore to CGX 800x600.

100% sure that the cable works.

Now you must check, the microfuses (resistors) just placed to the rear of the RGB port on the mobo.

Test with a multimeter, if are open or in shortcut. (R-G-B-CSYNC related)

Ohh . . .shit!

Have you tryed the CV64 card on another Amiga?

So now you haven't Amiga RGB output and neither CV64 one? . . . .could be a common problem.
