not sure to have understood but... do a

version 68040.library full

The latest 68040 available is 46.13. (which a don't think its already in the latest FlashRomUpdate)

Have you tryed to install in Libs: ALL the 680x0 set posted above? (the.new, .old and the little stub 040)
