That's pretty fast. What kind of network card where you using?

Anyway, it's sad to see people mess up the terms kbps and kB/s. The difference between bits and bytes are obviously that bytes are noted with capital B, but in the speed tests there is no capital B's. (20000kbps=2500kbps?)

Actually, 1 kb = 1000 bit, not 1024.
That gives:
    20000 kbps     | *1000
=20000000 bps      | /8
= 2500000 Bps      | /1024
=  2441,40625 kBps | /1024
=2,384185791015625 MBps
