You could get a Subway clockport USB interface which will allow you to use a compatible USB memory card reader to transfer pictures to your Amiga. I have a Highway (the Zorro slot version) and a Lacie HexaDrive which reader Compact Flash, Smart Media, Memory Stick, Secure Digial and MMC cards and it works really well. the E3B website. Of course the Subway has the advantage of being compatible with other USB periperals too.
If you did get a right angle adaptor for your PCMCIA slot another option would be to use
cfd from Aminet, this is a driver that lets you read memory cards in a PCMCIA adaptor in the A1200's slot.
