Amiga user returning !

Hello everyone,

in a few days i am going to have again an amiga in my house. A friend of collegue of mine has an A1200 with a hard drive and he is not using it for a long time (about 3 years now) and i am going to buy this one.
I haven't read amiga news about hardware since i sold before 8 years my A500 plus and i have some questions.

1. Can i install a cd-rom unit on the A1200 and if yes can someone give me some ideas ?

2. For the future i am thinking to put that A1200 inside a tower and i wonder for some thinks such us, how can i connect the power supply unit if i remove the motherboard  from the original keyboard-box and how can i connect an external keyboard (a pc one or even an A4000 one if it is easier).

3. If i put finnnaly the A1200 inside a tower can i use 2 ide devices with the onboard controller or this controller supports only one (the hard rive) ?

I have one more question. Can't i use a standart pc tower and install the my A1200 motherboard inside with the floppy and the hard drive ?

You are not speaking seriously of course!  The A1200 is a small A4000 and it can be upgraded to a PPC system so you can have your OS4 when it comes

So let me say it again .

If i want to install a cdrom i have to buy a card (from eyetech for example) that supports more than one IDE devices and install lets say AmiCDFS.
Are you sure that i cannot install an IDE cable with 2 positions for devices and install that device ?

and if i want to make my A1200 a tower one i need a keyboard adaptor for the external keyboard.
My question about the PSU is how can i connect a simple AT or ATX PSU on the amiga port for PSU because as i know the psu for the pc's have a totally different end from tha amiga input for PSU.
