I think its better to start from scratch again.

People have mentioned errors arround BBoAH here and there, and I think many images are not so good.

If someone creates a new defacto BBoAH I think many people will want to submit new high quality pictures and in a Wiki it will be easier to update information.

WTF is this a new trend, making sites or complete web-projects to work 100% in Amiga browsers without CSS?  :-?

Last week I observed a similar project, a community aimed to work 100% in Amiga browsers. I have to agree fully here, spend your time better than to aim for 100% browser quality on 68k Amiga.

You have to view this form a marketing point of view. You want traffic, because you want updates. Off course no one is going to update information on your wiki if it is empty, so you need to write a lot of pages yourself in the beginning (why not rewrite text from BBoAH, yes I know but everone seems to rewrite others contents these days :-) ).

Take photos of your own hardware, your friends hardware, make a thread on all major Amiga forums. Try to think outside the box, why would people want to visit your wiki instead of BBoAH. Find things to improve, for example IMHO search on BBoAH sucks. There are many things you could improve on BBoAH.

Tell people in the Amiga community you want as much information, buzz, trivia, info, data, pictures of Amiga hardware as they can find. I am sure they are going to mail you quite a lot of the above. Put it in the Wiki yourself in the beginning. When you have a lot of pages written, then it is time to open it up to the community.

And now another thing is going to happen, you are going to get top-10 rankings for every major keyword for every major page of your site, so you are going to get lots of traffic from the search engines. It is not hard at all to get top-3 for specific keywords in Amiga hardware if you have done your SEO right (which I noticed last fall). If you get traffic from the Amiga community AND the search engines I promise you that you will see lots of updates.

Now that you get a lot of traffic, you can have some fun. Off course you can not earn money on this traffic because you host other peoples words and images, but you can always put links to your other pages (or just put one link to an Amiga Forever affiliate site) on the wiki so all in all your domain is going to get much more traffic and rise in the search engines.

Just a couple of ideas...    :-)
